Rules Establishing Trigger Levels for Pollutants
On the Priority Persistent Pollutant List
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is proposing adoption of trigger level values to the Environmental Quality Commission (EQC). These values are numeric concentrations of listed priority persistent pollutants developed under the requirements of Senate Bill 737 and used to determine if effluent monitoring results will require development of a pollution reduction plan.
DEQ is accepting public comments on this proposal. The public comment period is scheduled from January 1, 2010 to February 1, 2010. Public hearings will be held in the second half of January 2010.
