It currently turns about 16,000 rounds per year (up from 9,600 two years ago). Working towards 35,000 as course conditions and programs improve.

Amenities: 18-Hole, 3,255-yard golf course. Clubhouse, covered driving range, practice putting green, practice chipping green, cart rentals, pull cart rentals, cub rentals.

The Head Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course and will supervise the maintenance staff. Will need an applicator’s license (paid for by the golf course). Some mechanical experience is recommended (we have a part-time mechanic and older equipment). Superintendent will work side-by-side with General Manager/Lease Holder/PGA Professional Joe Perdue to set expectations for the course. Once expectations are set, the Superintendent will have a weekly cup of coffee with Joe to review the previous week and preview the upcoming week.

Village Greens is a community course. The Village Greens golfer is not expecting country club-like conditions. Tees with grass on them, fairways without weeds and greens that have grass on them and roll smooth. The golfer should come off the course feeling like they had an enjoyable walk in a park.

Compensation: $48,000 to $52,000, depending on experience. Performance bonuses are available. This is a perfect position for the person that is tired of having 400 bosses and is looking for something with a little slower pace.
