Inside Sales Rep, Irrigation Division – Pacific Golf & Turf

Pacific Golf & Turf is the Northwest’s premium supplier of John Deere and EZGO Golf Cart products to Golf Course and Sports Turf facilities.  We have an awesome opportunity for an individual who is a TEAM player. In this role you will support the irrigation division as the primary contact for our customers to order parts and components for day-to-day irrigation needs.  This position works directly with and is also part of our overall parts team.

The inside sales rep role is an integral part of the overall team success for our irrigation division, as strong parts and service support is a critical component when selecting an irrigation system partner during large project renovations.

The inside sales rep will also support the outside sales team, by maintain updated parts diagrams and aiding when needed.

As the inside sales rep, you will also play a key role in driving the success of sales promotions and initiatives that influence the overall success of the division.


  • Parts ordering and fulfillment:
    • Assisting customers by guiding them to the correct parts and whole goods to fit their needs
    • Suggesting additional parts and product that can be useful (upselling)
    • Placing parts orders
    • Providing status updates to customers
    • Tracking of internal/external parts through the entire ordering process
    • Offering alternative solutions when primary choice is out of stock, or when lead time is critical
      • Potentially swapping components, etc.
    • Proactive parts selling
      • Targeting key accounts leading up to busy season, and with special promotions
    • GSP Renewals
      • Proactively reaching out to GSP customers whose plans are expiring, to initiative the renewal process
      • Placing GSP renewal orders with Rain Bird, to ensure seamless coverage
    • Provide support for the parts team, as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Irrigation knowledge preferred
  • Sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Team mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter
  • Knowledge of Rain Bird products a plus
  • Golf industry experience a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Wage: $20 – $22 per hour DOE
  • Periodical incentives will be tied to specific promotions
  • Annual incentive based on irrigation division goals
  • FLSA Status: Non-exempt, Hourly
  • Full time position – 5 days per week
  • Hours: Day shift
