Are you interested in giving back to the OGCSA? This is your opportunity to become more involved with your association through board service. We are seeking a minimum of two interested superintendent (Class A or B) candidates to fill director positions. Positions up for election are Board President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, 4-2 year Superintendent Director positions, and 1–2year Affiliate Director position.

President, Brian Koffler has served two terms and will be moving to the Past President Position. Past President Shane Hadwick will be moving off the board after six years of service! Superintendent Director Ty Patton will also be leaving after 4 years of service! Affiliate Director Stan Presley has one more year on his 2-year term.

Ballots with slate of candidates will be mailed in April to all eligible voters. Election results and new directors will be presented at the OGCSA Annual meeting held in May.

Duties of a board member

-Commit to the Bylaws and Standard Operating Procedures of the Organization
-Participate on Committees
-Attend Board meetings (Roughly 5-6 per year in person or conference calls)
-Attend Annual Meeting in May
-Attend majority of planned association golf outings/education throughout the year
-Open, read and comment on e-mails pertaining to OGCSA
-Ensure effective fiscal controls and accountability
-Approve annual budget
-Represent the association and the membership as a whole.
