Describe your facility in 10 words or less:
A hidden gem in Lane County.

What is a little-known fact / fun fact about your facility?
The food is yummy.

What hole on your golf course is hardest to maintain (and why)?
Holes No. 13 / 14 – it usually floods a few times a year.

Outside of your own, what is your favorite golf course (and why)?
Cypress Point Club with many fond memories.

Have you had a hole-in-one? When and where?
Two. Middlefield with my wife and her father and Chambers Bay with friends.

Who is your favorite all-time professional golfer?
Jack or Tiger

Which movie can you watch that never gets old?
Secretariat

Ducks, Beavers or Neither?
Only Beaver in the family

What’s your favorite musical artist or band?
Johnny Cash  

What’s your dream vacation?
Playing golf while traveling the US in an RV

What led you down this career path?
Running into Rob Lynch at the OSU horticulture dept.

What tool do you use the most on the job?
Probably a flat blade shovel

What would you invent right now to make your professional life easier?
Floating golf cart

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve witnessed or done as a golf industry professional?
Found the time to watch several accomplished amateur golfers play our course.

Who is your mentor in the golf industry?
Tom Cook and Brian McDonald deserve my vote.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone choosing to pursue this line of work?
If you have the passion for the game of golf I would recommend to anyone.
