Assistant Superintendent – Quail Run Golf Course

Job Summary:
Quail Run Golf Course is seeking a self-motivated, high energy and detail-oriented person to join the team. This will be a full time/year-round position. During peak season this person will work every other weekend with ample time off in the winter months. Under the supervision of the Superintendent and General Manager, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of course maintenance including but not limited to: Staff training and development, employee safety training and discipline, Irrigation operation and repairs, fertilizer and chemical applications, along with daily course maintenance such as mowing, cutting cups, etc.

Qualifications:
– Hands on and ready for any task
– Highly motivated, responsible and flexible
– Minimum of 3 years of golf course maintenance experience required
– Prior experience with pesticide and fertilizer applications preferred
– Strong communication and organization
– Valid driver’s license
– High School Diploma required, Turfgrass certificate or degree a plus
– Flexibility to respond to emergency situations that arise outside of normal working hours
