The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent. The Reserve is a 36-hole, semi-private facility. Once host to The Champions Tour. The Reserve prides itself in maintaining championship quality course conditions for both the public and its members. The Golf Course Superintendent should be passionate about the game of golf and golf course maintenance.
The Superintendent will work side by side with the Director of Agronomy to implement and execute maintenance plans. This candidate will plan and implement budgets. Hire, train and supervise staff. Apply relevant landscaping and horticultural principles to assure that quality standards are consistently achieved and/or exceeded. The Superintendent will be responsible for all activities related to the care and maintenance of the golf course.

-Minimum of 3 years with proven experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
-A two or four-year degree in turf management and agronomy is preferred.
-In-depth knowledge of turf management, agronomy, and golf course maintenance practices.
-Current Oregon pesticide license or be able to obtain one within 90 days.
-Knowledge of Bentgrass/Poa greens and Ryegrass.
-Understanding of ordering/purchasing, inventory control, budget management.
-Basic understanding of sprayers, spreaders, preventative maintenance systems, and irrigation systems.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.

Pay Range: $75k-$90k
