Family friendly and a challenge for all levels of Golfers
What is a little-known fact / fun fact about your facility?
Opened in 1926 as a 13 hole course and became a 18 hole course in the 80’s
What’s your favorite hole at your facility?
Hole No. 10 – it’s more of a love-hate relationship
Excluding your current facility, what is the top golf course you’ve played?
Tranquilo at Diamond Resorts
What is your go-to club in the bag?
8 iron

Rickie Fowler
What’s your favorite tool in your tool box?
A tie between POGO and my team, I couldn’t do this without them.
On your last day, what is your meal of choice?
Bucket of KFC original crust, Mac n’ Cheese and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy.

The Dark Knight

What’s the biggest change that has occurred while you’ve been in the industry?
Technology gets better every year.
What’s the biggest challenge your facility presents to you as superintendent?
Drainage and the herd of 60 elk that call the course their home.
What would you invent right now to make your professional life easier?
Elk repellent that actually works.
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve witnessed or done as a superintendent?
Our irrigation technician was chased by otters while he was driving down hole No. 10.
