Describe your facility in 10 words or less:
Very unique links golf course.

What hole on your golf course is hardest to maintain (and why)?
Hole No. 3. This hole sits between two large dunes and collects a lot of water. It also is very narrow with a small green.

Outside of your own, what is your favorite golf course (and why)?
Bandon Trails. I just really like playing this golf course. Many reasons.

Have you had a hole-in-one? When and where?
Yes. Link N Greens. Fort Collins Colorado

Do you have a superintendent dog?
Yes – Romeo. An American Bulldog mix – 20 months old. He is still in training. Not ready for a full time roll. But maybe someday.

Who is your favorite all-time professional golfer?
Tiger

Which movie can you watch that never gets old?
A Star Is Born

Ducks, Beavers or Neither? Beavers. Go State.   

What’s your favorite musical artist or band?
Morgan Wallen

What’s your dream vacation?
A beach in Mexico

What led you down this career path?
Summer job in high school

What tool do you use the most on the job?
Spray Rig

What’s the biggest change that has occurred while you’ve been in the industry?
Rounds have increased significantly in the last year. This is great but also creates more maintenance issues due to traffic.

What would you invent right now to make your professional life easier?
Single application English lawn daisy eradicator.

John Whisler, Tom Huesgen, David Dean, Phil Anderson

What piece of advice would you give to someone pursuing this line of work?
It will run your life. Unfortunately, family often comes second.
