Nominations are now being accepted for positions on the OGCSA Board of Directors. The positions open for election and current nominations are outlined below.

Positions Up for Election:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary/Treasurer
  • Affiliate Director: One (2-year term)

Current 2026 Nominations:

  • President: Incumbent – Stephen Purdy, Willamette Valley Country Club
  • Vice President: Incumbent – Josh Loy, Stewart Meadows Golf Course
  • Secretary/Treasurer: Incumbent – Steven Beyer, Illahe Hills Country Club
  • Affiliate Director: Incumbent – Sean Watts, Simplot Turf & Horticulture

How to Nominate Yourself

If you are interested in serving on the Board and would like to run for one of the open positions, please review the duties of a Board member and contact a current Board member or the Alexis at ogcsa@ogcsa.org or 503-344-6535 by March 31, 2026.

Electronic Ballots

Electronic ballots—including the slate of candidates—will be emailed in April to all eligible voting members.

Members may request a paper ballot instead of an electronic ballot. To do so, please submit your request in writing to ogcsa@ogcsa.org by March 31, 2026.

Election results and newly elected directors will be announced at the OGCSA Annual Meeting on May 20, 2026, at Colwood Golf Center in Portland, Oregon.

Duties of a Board Member:

  • Commit to the Bylaws and Standard Operating Procedures of OGCSA
  • Participate in committees
  • Attend Board meetings (approximately 5–6 per year, in person or via conference call)
  • Attend the Annual Meeting in May
  • Attend a majority of association golf outings and educational events throughout the year
  • Stay engaged by reading and responding to OGCSA-related emails
  • Ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability
  • Approve the annual budget
